Westerner Robotics is Lubbock High School’s robotics organization. We are located in the small town of Lubbock, Texas and work out of our school’s old kitchen.

We participate in FTC and FRC as well as UIL robotics. Our goal is to build an inclusive community revolving around STEM as well as providing and maintaining direct relationships with youth in our community.

Every year we field 5 FTC teams in the fall who are mentored by our leadership team to compete in 3 league meets (and more!). Our leadership team selects a set of students who go above and beyond in FTC to move to our FRC team, where we build large robots during the spring.

Our team is mainly student run, and our mentors place a large emphasis on being resourceful and self teaching.

We hope to see you on our journey spreading STEM through the Wild West and beyond! Please refer to our “Contact Us” page to get in touch.
